Today I was feeling wistful - I miss the beach! Here are two watercolors I did awhile back using the Outer Banks as subject matter. I'm afraid I don't know very much yet about how best to scan my paintings for optimum viewing on the web, but I did my best - I used Photoshop to help with the contrast. I tend to paint with a light touch. I love landscapes the best!

I see I didn't leave a comment when you first posted these pictures - I would have said "cool" - and today, when I checked back to see what you were up to, I still think these are very beautiful. Restful. . . . gorgeous colours. . . . like the colours you find in mother of pearl. . . .
