Coming Home

We are heading home via Southwest Airlines on Monday, 10.22.07. Our plane lands at 8 p.m. This has been a great trip, one we'll be sure to think fondly of for a long time. Thanks for looking at our blog and following along. I plan to keep this website for future endeavors. See you back in Maryland!

Coronado Beach - Farewell

Mr. Plum relaxes in the balmy breeze (with us nearby, of course). The view of the Pacific Ocean was slightly obscured by smoke from this far away because of wind-driven wild fires from north of San Diego. We all enjoyed it anyway. I could live here, for sure... The water was very cold, but your feet got used to it quickly.

Final Days of Trip

10.21.07 - I walked on the beach alone and got these shots. The weather here is wonderful!

10.20.07 - We visited the San Diego Zoo this date, only I have no photos. We forgot to bring the camera! (It was bound to happen one of these times...) We bought a disposable camera for the zoo. We loved the Meercats! So cute!

Happy Birthday to Me

We made it to San Diego! We are staying at a Navy Lodge on North Island and it's quite beautiful! We recorded the historic event of me getting my feet wet for the very first time in the Pacific Ocean, on my 49th birthday. You can see the San Diego skyline in the background above.

Another Drive Down South

10.18.07 - Today we drove from Port Hueneme to North Island, San Diego area. It's just beautiful around here! The weather was very clear for this drive, so we got some good shots of the ocean. Just had to get photos of ourselves in front of this Malibu sign. Didn't see any celebrities here, but I can understand why they want to live here. Gorgeous miles of beaches.
