An Alien Year

 

I needed to express something silly with my art since this year has been so unusual - even Alien! This is mixed media on a postcard using Inktense paints and a Sharpie marker.

Hydrangeas in Colored Pencil

This is a colored pencil drawing I have been working on all summer, as yet unfinished. It is from a tutorial by Maria Raczynska on YouTube, but hers was a watercolor and I adapted it for colored pencil. I haven't completed this one yet.

Painting Tutorial

I did this watercolor as a "Paint-Along" with artist Lindsay Weirich. This was a lot of fun, and I wasn't feeling pressured to keep up. I finished mine a few days after the paint along. I haven't been able to keep up with the "30-in-30" this time, but I'm satisfied that at least I am creating!
