A salute to my father's work

Here's a 3-minute video I made for a college project. It's about my father's work as an aerial photographer and his love of flying and parachutes.

Deer in my Backyard

I saw this duo out of the back window and quickly grabbed my camera. What a rare treat! Two beautiful deer walking around in the woods amidst condo buildings, a major highway, a hospital center, etc. This made my day.

Kitty Guardian

Ever since we lost Tabitha, our dear kitty Sheba has become my constant companion. Seems I can hardly be supine for a few minutes before my furry buddy climbs up somewhere on me. It's so sweet!

Retro Halloween

Taking a look back to about 1963. My brother and me getting ready for trick-or-treat. I really don't remember this costume at all! Though I'm not surprised it was a type of cat! I do, however, remember my brother's costume. He wore it several years.

I didn't think I'd get back to this so late! We're already home. We didn't have a lot of time to find the Internet at the Navy Lodge where we stayed. We did the usual touristy things: a tour of the city by bus; a long ride on the streetcar; a walk through the French Quarter on Bourbon St. (I got a short-lived shock to my naive little self!) And we ate some beignet's at Cafe DuMonde on Jackson Square. We attended Bret's 25th college reunion at Tulane one evening. I brought home an unwanted souvenir - I got a sore throat and cough while there. I think my sinuses were overwhelmed by the various active pollens in the air. I guess Spanish Moss and live oaks are not healthy for me! But I enjoyed visiting there.
