Another Painting Challenge - Day 1

"Snowy Abstract"

The colors don't read true on the photo. It's supposed to be purple, but looks more like blue violet. I tried to paint the negative shapes around the branches instead of concentrating on the limbs.

Butterfly

I managed to get one more painting in before the end of the challenge! This one is watercolor and colored pencil. 4 x 4"

Sea Glass and Rocks

Well, I'm supposed to be painting every day in September. That isn't going to happen, but I managed to get this one done. The scanner cut off the top of it, and I forgot my password for this blog, because its been so long since I logged in! So I'm happy that this was able to finally make it into today's line up.
